I did disconnect the fluid line on the front caliper and the fluid drained out.

I just today replaced all rotors and rear pads on my 01 silverado.
Axle bearings hold the brake rotor true without play while they both rotate.
Double checked the vacuum lines thinking it might be the booster however the booster would make the brakes harder to push not softer and there weren t any issues with the lines.
If this bearing goes bad it will allow the brake rotor it move back and fourth which pushes the caliper piston back into the caliper creating an air gap.
