2002 Toyota Tacoma Knock Sensor Location

Hey guys new to tacomaworld but looking for some help with a code.

2002 toyota tacoma knock sensor location.

Are the knock sensors located on the left driver s or right passenger s side of the v6 engine. The knock sensor has a larger electrical connector. I believe it is yellow in color. Also once i reach this super pia hidden spot for which i ve been digging good 5 hrs now how do i know which one is 1 and which one is 2.

From what i can gather its the knock sensor acting up. The knock sensor detects vibrations that come from a knock or an irregularity in combustion and send a signal to the engine control computer which then adjusts timing to correct the knock. Took it in had them replace the knock sensors and the wiring harness. The picture in haynes shows that the two are next to one another and not one on each side of the engine.
